How to Apply

The open application process is only applicable for the 16-25 year olds in the UK – Volunteering Overseas and the Developing Young People in Scotland investment programme.

The Livelihood in Developing Countries investment programme is by invite only.

WFT has a two stage application process. Neither of the forms are too long or complicated; we want to cut down WFT administration time and your administration time so we can both do what we do best - without heavy administration burdens.

Before filling out the first stage application form please ensure that you have carefully read the Who We Fund section of the website, taking particular notice of Who we will not fund and Who Should Apply

If you feel your organisation, project or programme fits with the above criteria you should fill out the first stage application form. The first stage application form is available by either downloading a copy here or writing to:

We would also urge you read the Guidance notes for filling out the first stage application form which is also available to download or will be sent with the application form.

Once the application form is complete either email a copy to info@woodfamilytrust.org.uk or send to the correspondence address detailed above.

If we feel your first stage application fits within our investment priorities we will invite you to complete our second stage application form.
