Developing Young People in Scotland

The objective here is to invest in the future of Scotland by ensuring we have a nation of enterprising young people who have an understanding of citizenship values and a tolerance for others.

We have analysed key areas where we feel that a targeted intervention will enhance opportunities for young people and will carefully link our investments to create a strategy for change.

We will invest in three specific areas through this portfolio

• Promoting Positive Destinations into employment, education and training
• Enhancing Enterprise Education and Business Start Ups
• Promoting Citizenship and Tolerance

All of our investments will be targeted at supporting strategic partners who can demonstrate their ability to deliver projects to scale and operate within our guiding principals and will be identified on a proactive basis.

The investment programme will be run from our Aberdeen office and we will provide additional business development, training, guidance and performance management to enable sustained and successful programmes.
